Meet at Rowland Reserve to visit the Marine Rescue Broken Bay base to explore their frontline rescue fleet! We’ll get a first-hand look at Broken Bay 30 (Michael Seale), a 10.5m offshore powerhouse, and Broken Bay 21 (Bungaree), their agile 7.5m inshore vessel. This is a great opportunity for the Scouts to meet the volunteer crews, learn about high-tech search and rescue gear like FLIR thermal imaging and radar, and see how these specialized boats keep our local waters safe. It’s the a chance to see "Service to the Community" in action. We look forward to seeing everyone there for a night of maritime discovery!
